Heavy Duty Grit & Salt Bins are manufactured from tough medium-density polyethylene with a strong plastic base. Heavy Duty grit & salt bins will not discolour or deteriorate through long-term exposure to the elements.

These heavy-duty grit & salt bins are fitted with a hasp and staple suitable for locking with a padlock and supplied with or without Salt and are essential for winter preparation and are ideal for storing grit, salt, or sand. The moulded forklift pockets facilitate easy movement.

Grit salt bins are available in two sizes 200 Litre capacity (7 Cu Ft) or 400 Litre capacity (14 Cu Ft). Each grit bin is embossed with a GRIT graphic as standard. Available on fast delivery in Yellow and Black recycled plastic.

200 Litres bin has one hasp & staple (padlock not included)
400 Litres bin has two hasps & staple (padlocks not included) and has forklift pockets moulded in the base for easy movement.

Each grit bin has a hinged lid that protects contents from the elements and the operating temperature range:-20 to +60C.
Plastic scoop is also available but only if ordered with Grit Bin.
