Heavy-duty grit and salt Bins are manufactured from tough medium-density polyethylene with a strong plastic base. They will not discolour or deteriorate through long-term exposure to the elements.

These heavy-duty grit and salt bins are fitted with a hasp and staple suitable for locking with a padlock and supplied with or without Salt. They are essential for winter preparation and are ideal for storing grit, salt, or sand. The moulded forklift pockets facilitate easy movement.

Grit salt bins are available in two sizes: 200-litre capacity (7 Cu Ft) or 400-litre capacity (14 Cu Ft). Each grit bin is embossed with a GRIT graphic as standard. They are available for fast delivery in Yellow and Black recycled plastic.

200 Litres bin has one hasp & staple (padlock not included)

400-litre bin has two hasps & staples (padlocks not included) and has forklift pockets molded in the base for easy movement.

Each grit bin has a hinged lid that protects its contents from the elements. Its operating temperature range is -20 to +60C.

A plastic scoop is also available but only if ordered with a Grit Bin.
